Bobolinko

Have you heard of Bobolinko? He’s one of a kind
This song will tell his story, I hope he doesn’t mind
He was a big old dusty tomcat
That roamed from town to town
He never found a home where he could settle down

His eyes were like marbles that glowed in the dark
And you could see him lurking around in the park
He walked with a strut, but never theless
His fur was kinda scruffy and always a mess
That’s why all the other cats would say…

So he found himself an empty box
And crawled in there to hide
He started to get very sad and never went outside
‘Till one day came a lady who was so very kind
She gave him food and water and treated him real fine
And each day he got better then he went outside to play
But still all the other cats would always run away
He went from place to place to try and make a friend
But every cat he met just said, “Don’t come back again!”

Well he wandered for awhile to a quite part of town
He found a place to be alone, he was really feeling down
He rested on a front porch when he heard an open door
It was that same kind lady that he had met before
She took him in and cleaned him up
And gave him a nice home
And now Bobolinko doesn’t have to be alone
‘Cause that kind lady had other cats inside
Now Bobolinko doesn’t have to hide anymore
‘Cause now all his new friends will say…

So now Bobolinko is happy again
Living with that lady and his kitty cat friends
And the moral of the story is:
Just to be kind, to all the Bobolinkos that you find!
